Sani played the King of Siam opposite Stefanie Powers and Marti Webb in the UK tour of The King and I (2002). Other roles include Sportin Life, Porgy and Bess, (Sydney Opera House) and Corporal Joe, Carmen Jones (Melbourne).

Sani has created many roles in opera with world premieres including Daniel, Wide Sargasso sea (Chamber Made Opera, Melbourne); Kid Chocolate, ‘The Whitechapel Whirlwind’ by Fredrics (London 2005).

His London recital debut was at St John’s Smith Square. (June 2005) with Bass Baritone brother Eddie.

On screen he won best actor for Talk of the Town, at the Dream Speakers Festival Canada, (1995). For television Sani featured in Tales of the South

Seas. In 2005 Sani played Hal Collins, in the feature Peter Warlock for Capriol Films.

Sani sang the national Anthem of Samoa at Twickenham before a global audience, when his country played England in Rugby (2005).

The Aldeburgh festival 2006 saw Sani appear in the World premiere of Sante,with the London Sinfonetta conducted by Phillip Walsh.

In June 2007 Sani will make his Wagnerian debut as Froh in Das Rheingold, for the Longborough Opera Ring Cycle, conducted by Anthony Negus.

Working closely with mentor and Wagnerian legend Sir Donald McIntyre, Sani is currently preparing the title role of Siegfried, also for Longborough

Opera in 2009.

When time allows Sani teaches singing, plays rugby, and is a keen middle

distance swimmer.
